MARY STINSON, OWNER AND LICENSED MASTER ESTHETICIAN

LME# 23025219

Bold brows and healthy, glowing skin have been Mary’s obsession since she was three years old. As a young adult, Mary took her passion and put it into practice, graduating from the Aveda Institute in Seattle with her Aesthetics License in 2006. If you just did the math, that’s 17 years and counting! After gaining skills and knowledge working 4 years behind the chair and 4 years as a traveling educator, Mary founded Mynx Aesthetik in 2013 and has been providing personalized skincare in Tacoma ever since.

2023 was a big year for Mary and for Mynx Aesthetik as she purchased the Ruston Building, renovated it, and as soon as we moved to the new location she decided to go back to school to pursue her Master Esthetician License. How in the world she did not check herself in for a grippy sock vacation is still unknown (Shout out to Melissa for holding down the fort!). Nonetheless, Mary is driven by her passion for her profession, helping clients achieve their skin care goals, dedicated to staying up to date with new modalities and continues to make education a top priority, for herself, her team, and her clients.

There is nothing she loves more than seeing that perfect glow and a big smile on her client’s faces as they walk out the door.

When Mary isn’t working she loves spending time with her pup-pal, Hazel and her friends/family. Mary can be spotted in the community pumping iron at Vie Athletics and practicing her Yogi-ness at Tuladhara. She is also an avid hiker, paddle boarder, world traveler, music festival adventurer and truly believes in living her best life!

Here are some of Mary’s favorite services:

  • Potenza Radio Frequency Microneeding (RFMN)
  •  Hydrafacial
  • SkinPen Microneedling
  • Laser Facials for Skin Rejuvenation
  • Laser treatment for hair removal, spider vein and pigment reduction
  • Skin Better Science Peels
  • Lamprobe: for removal of skin tags, cherry angiomas, milia, sebaceous hyperplasia, fibromas and other common minor skin irregularities.
  • Brazilian Waxing – thats right! If you’d rather wax than be lasered, this girl has got you covered!

Larissa

Larissa Maninger, admin assistant

Hey There, My name is Larissa Maninger. I am an admin assistant here at Mynx Aesthetik, Prior to joining the team, I had my introduction to the aesthetics world over a decade ago while struggling with my own skin problems. During those 10 years I worked with Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons and in Lash salons, in an effort to gain as much knowledge and experience as I could in the skincare and beauty world. After being able to clear up my own skin, and boost my self confidence, a passion was sparked in me to want to help others with similar skincare aspirations. My first step in being able to help others was to become a licensed esthetician and lash artist. Upon Graduating the Euro Institute of Skincare in August 2020 and becoming officially licensed in October of that same year, I then got my Master in Aesthetics shortly after. I was even more inspired to help people achieve their goals.

Certified Cupping Therapist

Thai Massage + Medicine

Theresa has 15 years of education and skills gained in the healing arts practice of Bodywork. She attended Alexander School of Natural Therapeutics in Tacoma, WA in 2008 for Massage Therapy, graduating in 2009. By 2011 she ventured out on her own in helping others through massage. She is passionate about caring for people and found that a holistic approach to wellness gives her the ability to do that in one of the purest forms. It is her intention to help improve the quality of people’s lives and this work is the tool she finds most effective. Her understanding and focus on the body, mind & spirit connection is a big part of what makes her work so healing.

While she has an extensive background in both spa and clinical treatment with certifications in Swedish Deep Tissue, Massage Cupping, Craniosacral Therapy, Intraoral Massage and Neuromuscular Re-education her focus and speciality is from the Traditional Thai Medicine and Massage Lens. She received an intensive education, training and certification at The Naga Center in Portland, Oregon and continues to deepen her research and practice on this specific healing arts and approach. This is where she has found her most beneficial and profound work of healing. Currently, she is enrolled in a Nutrition Coaching Certification program that focuses on Primal Health so she can add to her offerings of healing bodywork in the near future.

Monika

Monika Jauregui

I’m so glad to be the Medical Director for Mynx Aesthetik in Tacoma, WA! I look forward to helping you along your skincare journey. Together with Mynx Aesthetik and Skin Haven Cosmetic Clinic our priority is helping you look like you on your best day. We’re two clinics dedicated to attainable beauty—focused on what’s already beautiful about you. A bit about myself, I am a nurse practitioner with 10 years of experience within surgery settings and in aesthetic medicine in Los Angeles. I decided to venture out of my hospital role to pursue my true passion, SKIN and everything associated with it. Considering skin is the largest organ covering our amazing selves, we need to take care of it just like we do with the rest of our bodies. And I believe skincare is a lifestyle. As a lifelong learner, I’m currently wrapping up my doctorate program (December, 2024). I’m always trying to learn more about skin, so you’ll frequently find me at local and international trainings and conferences where I continue learning. And I pass everything I can along to my patients. Plus, I have the privilege of being able to leverage my knowledge and experience from working at renowned skincare clinics in Los Angeles—where I treat an exclusive celebrity clientele—to Washington. You deserve to look (and feel) beautiful, refreshed and confident. We can’t wait to be your self-care haven for aesthetics, where you leave feeling your absolute best.
