Meet Mary Stinson
Founder of Mynx Aesthetik & Master Esthetician
Mary Stinson is the founder and visionary behind Mynx Aesthetik. A licensed esthetician since 2006, she began her journey after graduating from the Aveda Institute in Seattle. Over the years, she honed her expertise both behind the treatment chair and as a traveling educator, sharing her knowledge and deepening her experience across the aesthetics industry.
In 2013, Mary established Mynx Aesthetik, originally a boutique studio, with a clear mission: to create a space where results, community, and client-centered care come together. Under her leadership, Mynx has grown into a respected wellness collective known for its personalized approach and elevated standards of service.
In 2023, Mary expanded her vision further by acquiring and renovating The Ruston Building, now the permanent home of Mynx Aesthetik. During this time, she also pursued and earned her Master Esthetician License, reinforcing her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Most recently, Mary has expanded her service offerings to include buccal massage, an advanced, intraoral facial technique that works from within the muscles of the face to sculpt, lift, and release deep tension. This newly introduced service reflects her dedication to staying at the forefront of innovative, results-driven treatments while continuing to embrace a holistic approach to skin health and facial wellness.
Mary brings both passion and purpose to every aspect of her work. Leading with intention, she blends advanced skincare techniques with a grounded, holistic philosophy that defines the Mynx brand. Outside the clinic, Mary enjoys strength training at Vie Athletics, practicing yoga at Tuladhara, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her beloved dog, Hazel. Her belief in healthy skin, positive energy, and purposeful living continues to shape the culture of Mynx Aesthetik.
Meet Melissa
master esthetician
Melissa earned her Master Aesthetics License in 2017 after completing the Advanced Aesthetics Program at Clover Park Technical College. Shortly after, she relocated to Florida to assist in opening a high-end medical spa, where she gained hands-on experience in advanced treatments and luxury skincare services.
Since returning to the Pacific Northwest, Melissa has been an integral member of the Mynx Aesthetik team. Joining in 2019, she continues to advance her skills and leadership in the industry. She is a Connect Certified Master HydraFacialist and specializes in a variety of treatments, including Laser Hair Removal, Dermaplaning, RF and traditional Microneedling, waxing, and buccal massage, an advanced intraoral technique designed to sculpt, lift, and release tension within the facial muscles. This addition reflects her commitment to offering innovative, results-driven treatments that support both skin health and overall facial wellness.
Melissa brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to her work, focusing on both results and the client experience. Outside of the treatment room, she enjoys life as a wife and mother of two, balancing family and professional life with care and commitment.
Meet Andria
Esthetician & Lash Technician
Andria became an aesthetician in 2008 in Las Vegas, after being inspired by her aunt and wanting to learn more about her own skin conditions/help others feel more comfortable in their skin. She has worked in a variety of services over the years ranging from professional make up, body waxing, to eventually running her own business doing eyelash extensions. In 2023, she completed her advanced aesthetics course to broaden her knowledge in skin. Andria moved to Washington to get away from the Vegas heat, and found Mynx Aesthetik! Her favorite service is creating custom lash sets with fun pops of color, as well as brow shaping and laminations.
When not working, Andria enjoys playing board games, painting, and dancing! She is also obsessed with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Meet Larissa
Office Manager & Master Esthetician
Larissa serves as both Master Esthetician and Office Manager at Mynx Aesthetik, where her attention to detail and client-first approach ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. With more than five years of experience in the aesthetics field, Larissa combines her clinical knowledge with strong organizational skills to support both the client experience and team operations.
Her dual role gives her a unique perspective; she understands both the flow of the treatment room and the rhythm of front desk operations. She maintains the high standards of professionalism and care that define Mynx Aesthetik by creating a seamless, elevated experience for every client.
Outside of the clinic, Larissa enjoys spending quality time with her dog, playing golf, and connecting with friends and family. Her approachable nature, combined with a steadfast commitment to excellence, makes her a key part of the Mynx Aesthetik team.
Meet Kate Jones
Receptionist
Kate is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics through the University of Arizona, where she is passionate about holistic wellness and the balance between health, beauty, and self-care.
With a background in front desk and client-facing roles, Kate brings organizational skills, attention to detail, and a welcoming presence to every guest experience. She is dedicated to creating a smooth, comfortable, and elevated environment for each client from the moment they walk through the door.
Outside of the spa, Kate enjoys running, trying new foods, and spending time with her family, especially her dogs.
Meet Dr. Grace Grymes Chapman, DNP
Nurse Injector
Dr. Grace Grymes Chapman is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner, bringing over 30 years of medical expertise and two decades of advanced clinical experience to her role. With a professional background in women’s health and aesthetics, she is passionate about empowering individuals to look and feel their best through personalized, results-focused care.
Dr. Chapman has devoted a significant portion of her career to advocating for accessible healthcare, particularly for underserved and uninsured populations. This dedication to inclusive, compassionate care is also evident in her aesthetic practice, where she combines medical precision with an artistic eye to deliver safe, natural-looking enhancements.
At Mynx Aesthetik, Dr. Chapman is recognized for her in-depth knowledge, empathetic approach, and dedication to helping every client feel seen, heard, and confident.
Meet Hazel
Spa Mascot & Chief Happiness Officer
Hazel plays a special role at Mynx Aesthetik, serving as our official Spa Mascot and Chief Happiness Officer. A constant companion to founder Mary, Hazel has perfected the art of client care in her own unique way, offering comfort, calm energy, and a friendly greeting to everyone who visits the clinic.
Her presence adds warmth and charm to the spa experience, helping clients feel instantly at ease. Whether offering a wag of the tail or simply sitting quietly nearby, Hazel is a beloved member of the team who contributes to the welcoming environment for which Mynx is known.
When she’s not on duty, Hazel enjoys long walks, cozy naps, and spending time with her family.
